Gold Price: yellow metal gains 90 rupees trade, Silver reaches 61,700 rupees per kg

Gold prices today gained 90 rupees at Multi Commodity Exchange for February contracts in sync with gains in the global markets.

Gold prices today gained 90 rupees at Multi Commodity Exchange for February contracts in sync with gains in the global markets. The precious metal was trading at 47,895, rupees per 10 gram in intra-day trade.

Silver also gained 110 rupees to 61,700 rupees per kilogram for March Contracts when reports last came in.

In the New York Mercantile Exchange, gold was up marginally to trade at 1,788 US dollars and 90 cents per ounce while silver prices were down to trade at 22 dollars and 90 cents per ounce in intra-day trade.
