Ranchi : Amrit Lal Meena, Secretary, Ministry of Coal visited Central Coalfields Limited (CCL) in Ranchi, Jharkhand. During his visit, Meena inaugurated a renovated auditorium and the online hospital management system of CCL Gandhinagar Hospital. CCL’s first e-vehicle was also launched by him. CCL has deployed 16 such e-vehicles, which will help reduce carbon footprint.
Shri Meena was accompanied by Pramod Agarwal, Chairman – CIL, M. Nagaraju, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Coal, P.M. Prasad, CMD – CCL and senior management of CCL during his visit.
Shri Meena and other dignitaries also met with Sukhdev Singh, Chief Secretary of Jharkhand and discussed issues pertaining to coal mining in Jharkhand. Samiran Dutta, CMD – BCCL and Shri Manoj Kumar, CMD – CMPDI also accompanied Shri Meena to this meeting.
Earlier in the day, Shri Meena paid a visit to the Jharkhand Sports Academy, a CCL CSR initiative run in collaboration with the Jharkhand State Government. He met the cadets and motivated them.
