Coal India Chairman P.M. Prasad chaired a review meeting of CIL subsidiary MCL at its headquarters in Sambalpur, Odisha. Senior management of MCL attended the meeting.
During his visit to MCL, Chairman, CIL visited the Lakhanpur and Belpahar opencast projects (OCPs) in the Ib Valley Coalfields.
Shri Prasad inspected the upcoming Ib Valley Coal Washey, the largest non-coking coal washery of CIL.
Shri Prasad also inspected the under-construction railway siding at Samleshwari OCP.
