25 contract workers engaged in Repair Shop(Electrical) Department of SAIL, Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) were awarded under Instant Recognition Scheme in a function organised at the Departmental conference hall on 7th December 2023.
Sunil B. Kartha CGM In-charge (E&P) , presented the awards to the contract workers of Messrs Samanta Enterprises,Messers Soarn Craft ,Messrs Jayashree construction Messrs Dev Engineers(I) and Messrs Rajendra Kumar Yadav. Present on the occasion were Santosh Kumar Polaki GM In-charge RS(E) & HM(E), HoD RS(E), S.M.Sindur, Senior Manager (Personnel –CLC) and other senior officers and employees of RS(E) Department.
Mr. Kartha and Mr. Polaki commended the diligent efforts and commitment of the contract workers which helped the company both on the production and performance front. They encouraged them to continue the good work for the betterment of the company. They also advised to the gathering to strictly follow the safety guide lines of the company without any compromise.
S.M. Sindur briefed about the award scheme and congratulated the awardees of the function.
It may be noted that these contract workers were awarded for exemplary associated jobs done on different areas like, Repair of DC Roller table motor, Revamping of 5 ton Crane, Repairing/overhauling 3.5 MW motor and housekeeping of the shop .
The function was coordinated by Mr. A.K Nayak, Assistant Manager RS(E).
