The Annual Mine Safety Fortnight at Dulanga Coal Mining Project concluded after 14 days of vibrant celebrations. Brij Raj Prasoon, GM (Infra), graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.
The festivities commenced with Rajesh Ranjan, Safety Officer, leading a pledge for dignitaries, employees, and workers, emphasizing the commitment to safety. K Chandrasekhar, Head of Project, NTPC Dulanga, conveyed his best wishes and safety advice to workers through a thoughtful voice message. Brij Prasoon addressed the gathering, lauding the dedication of mine workers.
Prabhakar Choudhary, Mine Agent, highlighted the importance of safety practices in his address to the audience. Mine Manager Sadananda Chary Utnoori also engaged with employees, acknowledging their dedication and commitment to safety.
A highlight of the event was the prize distribution ceremony, recognizing outstanding contributions in various competitions, including safety songs, essay competition and poster-making contests etc. Employees and Mine Workers were honored for their commitment to maintaining safety standards.
In a symbolic gesture, the Safety Flag was lowered and handed over to the Chief Guest, accompanied by a determination to uphold all safety standards in mines.
