Coal India organized a meeting with MDO contractors and prospective bidders at its corporate headquarters in Kolkata, under the chairmanship of Dr B. Veera Reddy, D(T) Coal India.
Dr. B. Veera Reddy, speaking on the occasion, stated that 14 MDO projects (both open cast and underground) were awarded out of 29. In addition, Coal India has awarded 23 MDO projects under the Revenue Sharing Mode out of a total of 34 projects.
Dr. Reddy emphasized the importance of safety in mining operations, assuring attendees that Coal India will offer all essential safety inputs and data to contractors.
Manoj Kumar, CMD, CMPDI, along with Directors’ (Technical) from subsidiary companies, contractors, and prospective bidders, participated in the meeting in virtual mode.
