As part of its Customer Relationship Management (CRM) initiative, the Commercial Department of NTPC Western Region-I Headquarters, Mumbai, successfully organized a workshop on Strategic Financial Management at Hotel Surya Palace, Vadodara.
Over 85 nominees representing all subsidiary companies of Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (GUVNL) participated enthusiastically in the workshop.
As a key CRM initiative, NTPC annually organizes workshops on topics suggested by its beneficiaries at their respective locations. This marks the second workshop conducted for the Gujarat beneficiary this year. The previous session, focusing on the Flexible Operation of Thermal Generating Stations, was held in collaboration with Gujarat SLDC and GETRI on 20th November 2024.
The workshop was inaugurated in the esteemed presence of senior officials, including Shri Somes Bandyopadhyay, MD, GSECL; Shri D. H. Vasava, ED, GSECL; Shri S. Sen, General Manager (Finance); and Shri P. R. Jena, AGM (Commercial), NTPC.
A key event highlight was an insightful session led by Dr Ambika Prasad Dash, Professor at NTPC School of Business. The participants highly appreciated the session’s relevance, depth of content, and interactive approach.
