Asansol (IP News). Chittaranjan Locomotive Works (CLW) has produced 250 electric locomotives (WAG-9 HC, 33071) in 188 working days upto 29th December of the current financial year 2020-21. Last 50 locos are manufactured in only 29 working days.
General Manager Satish Kr Kashyup flagged off the 250th locomotive of WAG-9HC series bearing no. 33071 from CLW accompanied with senior officers, staff & supervisors.
Shri Kashyup had congratulated the entire team of loco production and appreciated their effort in successful production of 250 locomotives.
With this trend in production, it is expected that, CLW will be able to achieve yet another highest production figure in manufacturing of record numbers of latest technology electric locomotives in a Financial Year.
