Korba, 30 August : The management is unable to give information about how many skilled and trained employees employed in New Korba Super Specialty Hospital operated in Korba district of Chhattisgarh.
The hospital management is not able to give information about the professional qualification of its nursing and paramedical, technical staff. It is also not clear whether the nurses who deal directly with the patients after the doctors are registered with the State Nursing Council. Nurses also have different categories. It consists of ANM, GNM, BSc (N), PB BSc, MSc qualified nurses.
Due to non-disclosure of the professional qualifications of the hospital staff, they are under suspicion. In such a situation, it can be assumed that some staff may be unskilled and untrained, which can become a disaster for the patients.
The Korba Super Specialty Hospital management has also not made public the educational qualification of the doctors providing the services. The names of doctors providing services have been listed in the reception area of the hospital, but their educational qualifications have not been shown against their names. Only the method of medicine has been mentioned. While the rule says that all the doctors providing services in the hospital, their educational qualification, method of treatment provided, doctor’s address, contact number, email will be displayed. Only the name of the doctor and his medical practice are mentioned on the board in the reception area of Korba Super Specialty Hospital.
On the other hand, it has also been learned that some of its branches are being run by New Korba Super Specialty Hospital. It has come to know about a branch hospital that it is operating on a building built on unencroached land.
