Korba (IP News). Abhijit Pati, CEO & Director, BALCO attended a Digital Conference on Industry 4.0 for Aluminium sector as a Chief guest along with other dignitaries Satish Pai, MD, Hindalco Ind. Ltd, Sudhakar Bonde, Chairman ASM International, & D.A. Chandekar, Editor & CEO, Metalworld, where he discussed about the positioning of Aluminium as a metal in global & Indian scenario, the challenges faced by the sector and the reforms needed urgently.
He also discussed on Aluminium Industry’s vital role in nation’s economy and its strong potential in successfully partnering with Government’s visionary initiatives like Make in India, 100 Smart Cities, 500 AMRUT cities, 24X7 Power for All, 100% Rural Electrification, Indigenous Space Programs, 100 GW Solar Power capacity making these a reality and making India a Self-reliant economy.
The conference aimed at discussing how Industry 4.0 will make a difference to Aluminium sector, End to end Industry 4.0 Solutions for primary & downstream sectors, case studies and importance of IIOT, Robotics, sensors & 3D Printing in Aluminium Sector.
