Korba (IP News). BALCO, under its Project Menstrual Health Management unveiled IEC material and launched Sanitary Napkins through a virtual event on Friday. Chief Guest for the event Abhijit Pati, CEO & Director, BALCO did the honours in the presence of Leena Verenkar, Group CSR Head. More than 500 Community members, especially the Women & Girls actively attended the event along with community health workers such as Mitanins and ANM workers.
The program focuses on creating awareness and changing the behavioural pattern of women towards menstrual health and hygiene with the help of functional SHGs in the respective Panchayats.
