NCL is giving a major boost to ‘Make In India’ in HEMMs. In this direction, the erection of a 20 Cubic Meter Capacity Electric Rope Shovel commenced in the Nigahi Area.
NCL’s Director (Technical/Project and Planning) Shri Sunil Prasad Singh, Area GM Nigahi, other senior officials, and representatives from BEML remain present on the occasion.
This 20 Cubic Meter Electric Rope Shovel has been designed and developed indigenously by BEML Limited under ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’. NCL has deployed 9 Nos of BEML’s Indegenioulsy developed under ‘Make In India’ 205 Tonne Capacity Electric Drive Dumpers in its mines.
During the visit Director (Technical/Project and Planning), NCL Shri Sunil Prasad Singh also inspected the Nigahi Mines and directed the project officials to boos the coal production and dispatch.
