Korba, 10 Febraury : Press conference was organized in NTPC Korba at Vikas Bhawan premises. On this occasion, Chief General Manager, NTPC, B. R. Expressing gratitude for the cooperation of the last 40 years, Rao thanked the Press Club. He said that NPTC Korba is on the way to generate power with efficiency. About 40 years ago, this unit, which started its journey with 200 MW, is now known for its 2600 MW power generation and excellent performance in Korba.
Journalists visited the plant premises:
The journalists of the Press Club were also given a tour of the plant premises. He was shown the safety centre, simulator building, various units in the plant premises etc. At the same time, he was informed about the safety standards and safety-related trainings implemented in the plant premises.
They were apprised about the operation of 200 MW and 500 MW units in the simulator.

4. Annual PLF 91.28%, (as on 31. Jan 2023), Highest in NTPC, 2nd in India)
5. Awarded with the prestigious Swarna Shakti Award for Outstanding Performance
Leading for Community Development:
Along with power generation, NTPC Korba is continuously working for environmental protection and community development. Recently, retail associate training and archery camp etc. were organized under Corporate Social Responsibility.
