Kolkata, 23 March : Coal India Chairman Pramod Agrawal met the Barry O’Farrell AO, Australian High Commissioner to India at CIL’s corporate office in Kolkata.
Discussions were held on the use of renewable energy, hydrogen, and other forms of decarbonisation as a way forward for CIL towards cleaner energy. Existing and proposed engagements between CIL and Australian research organisations were also reviewed.
During the deliberations, Dr. B Veera Reddy, Director (T), CIL, Debasish Nanda, Director (BD), CIL, Mukesh Choudhary, Director (M), CIL, and A. K. Samantaray, ED (CA), CIL were present.
