Ranchi. Central Mine Planning & Design Institute, Ranchi organized an exhibition-cum-sale of Handicrafts as a part of the ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahostav’ celebrations.
Handicrafts made of jute, terracotta, bamboo and wood by women of rural areas around Ranchi district, Jharkhand were on display and sale.
The exhibition was organized to discourage the use of goods made of plastic and to promote products made out of natural and eco-friendly sources that would also prevent degradation of the environment besides creating an avenue of financial sustainability for the artisans.
