Coal India Limited Chairman P.M. Prasad visited North Eastern Coalfields (NEC) in Margherita, Assam, and inspected operations of its Tikak and Tirap mines.
He also reviewed the performance of NEC and met with the trade union leaders. Shri Prasad also attended the opening ceremony of the ‘9th Krida Mahotsav’ at Vivekanand Kendra Vidyalaya, NEC.
Alok Lalit Kumar, Executive Director and Technical Secretary to Chairman, Shri K. Mere, General Manager, NEC, and other senior management of NEC accompanied him during the visit. The operations of NEC are overseen by our corporate office in Kolkata.
