Coal India organised a workshop on Environment and Sustainability at our corporate headquarters in Kolkata. The event was marked by insightful discussions on the company’s ongoing green initiatives and long-term commitment to sustainable practices.
Chairman, Shri P.M. Prasad, focussed on sustainability and green initiatives and highlighted the company’s commitment to environmental responsibility.
Shri Achyut Ghatak, our Director Technical set the tone for the workshop and emphasised Coal India’s role in driving sustainable practices.
Dr Rakesh Singh, spoke on “Mine Reclamation” and “Pollution Control in Coal Mines—Challenges in Implementation” during the workshop.
Director (Business Development) Shri Debasish Nanda, Director (Marketing) Shri Mukesh Choudhary, Director (Finance) Mukesh Agrawal, and CVO, Shri Brajesh Kumar Tripathy, were present on the occasion.
Senior executives from corporate headquarters and executives from all our subsidiaries participated in this workshop.
