New Delhi, 17 May : Minister of Coal, Mines & Parliamentary Affairs Pralhad Joshi inaugurated a workshop on “Quest for new age mining: Digital solutions for green energy transition”.
The Minister spoke about Govt. efforts that have propelled India to achieve energy access and security for all citizens. He also emphasised on deploying digital solutions in the coal industry.
Dr. Anil Kumar Jain, Secretary, Govt. of India, Ministry of Coal, Vinay Ranjan, Director (P&IR), CIL, B. Veera Reddy, Director – Technical, CIL spoke on the occasion. CMDs of CIL subsidiary companies also attended the workshop.
Yogesh Daruka, Partner, PricewaterhouseCoopers (PWC) and Amit. Khurma, MD, Accenture showcased digital solutions for a green energy transition in coal mining.
