As a part of CSR initiative, NTPC has given critical diagnostic equipment to the District Hospital, Tuensang, Nagaland, to improve the health infrastructure of the area.
Tuensang is the largest district of Nagaland with a 100 bedded District Hospital catering to patients who come from the remotest corner of the district, will benefit all the patients to find essential healthcare near them.
This initiative is a part of a tripartite agreement signed by NTPC with Investment Development Authority of Nagaland (IDAN) and Department of Health and Family Welfare, Government of Nagaland for providing Critical Diagnostic and other equipment in the District Hospital.
The inaugural ceremony was attended by Dr. Kekhrielhoulie Yhome, Advisor of School Education & SCERT, Nagaland, Smt. Lithrongla Tongpi Rutsa, NCS, Deputy Commissioner, Tuensang, Karunakar Das, Head of Project, NTPC Bongaigaon, I. Changsang, Under Secretary, IDAN and other officials of Government of Nagaland and NTPC.
