In connection with operationalisation of alloted new coal blocks in Dumka District namely Brahmani Chichro Patsimal and Amrakonda Murga Dangal Eastern Coalfields Limited (ECL) is going to set up an Office at Dumka for liasoning with local stake holders as well as close monitoring of different related activities by posting requisite Officials there.
In this context one Office accommodation near to DC Office at Dumka has been identified and renovated for use as New Coal Block Area Office, Dumka.
On 24th November’23 “Griha Pujan” was performed in presence of Niladri Roy, Director(Technical), ECL along with Kalyanjee Prasad, General Manager, New Coal Blocks(Dumka), Bhaskar Bhattacharya, Dy. GM/HoD(Geology/ Geo Tech/Mine Closure Plan), Ravi Shankar, Manager/Nodal Officer (CSR/Welfare), Harish, Astt Mgr(Geology) and other loal representatives .
The functioning of the Office will help in day to day liasoning with District Administration Authorites, Local representatives, Villagers.
Director(Technical) Operations also met DC, Dumka Anjaneyulu Dodde, I.A.S, and discussed issues related to starting of exploration of the said Coal Blocks .
DC, Dumka assured for all support and suggested to undertake CSR activities in the locality through people’s representatives as confidence building measures.
