A tripartite safety meeting was held at Kajora Area, ECL between three key stakeholders: management, trade unions and DGMS representatives.
Various issues concerning coal mining operations, including workers’ welfare, safety standards, productivity, worker safety protocols, environmental impact and regulatory updates were discussed to ensure smooth operation of the coal industry while balancing the interests of the workforce and operational efficiency.
The meeting was chaired by Vinod Rajak, DMS Mining, Sitarampur (Eastern Zone), RE-II and it was significantly enriched by the presence of A. K. Yadav, DMS (Mechanical), Sitarampur (Eastern Zone), Rounak Mandal, DDMS (Mining), Sitarampur (Eastern Zone), RE-II, Keshav Meena, DDMS (Electrical), Sitarampur (Eastern Zone), G. V. Ranga Rao, DDMS (Mechanical), Sitarampur (Eastern Zone), Ashok Kumar, GM (Safety), ECL HQ, Prashant Kumar, GM, Kajora Area, Shambhu Nath, Corporate Safety Board Member of Kajora Area along with all trade union members, Management representatives and ISO representatives.
