A team of employees including executives of Material Recovery Department of SAIL, Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) was presented with awards under the ‘Utkarsh’ recognition scheme were awarded for safe and successful implementation of the project “Disposal of Mixed BOF Slag to external agency”.
M N V S Prabhakar, CGM (Services) presented the awards to the employees in a function organised at the CGM (Services) Office on 4th September. Present on the occasion were Mr. Chintamani Mohapatra, GM (MRD) and other Senior Officers and employees of the Department.
Mr. Prabhakar congratulated the awardees for contributing immensely to the Department by innovativeness and hard work.
The group comprising Prafulla Kumar Tripathy, Senior Manager, Ramesh Chandra Mishra, Senior Manager, Sushovan Basu, Assistant Manager, Somay Soren, MOMT, Niroj Kumar Pruseth, MOMT, Rajendra Barik, SOST, was led by Anurangshu Shome, DGM (MRD) and guided by Rakesh Dhondyal, GM (Marketing) and Prasant Kumar Mitra, GM (RCL). Rajib Mukherjee, Senior Manager (Personnel) coordinated the function.
