Korba, 15 December : National Energy Conservation Day 2022 is observed every year on 14 December to spread awareness about the importance of energy and the need of energy conservation.
To promote the spirit of Energy Conservation and Sustainability, Korba celebrated National Energy Conservation Day 2022 with gaiety and fervor.
The celebrations, organized by the Energy Efficiency Management Group at Korba, included various cultural performances and prize distribution to various winners of the competitions organized during Energy Conservation Week.
The closing ceremony was attended by senior members of team Korba, including Shri B. R. Rao, CGM O&M and Madhu S., GM Maint.
During the ceremony, All India top 1 & 2 rankers in 22nd BEE Energy Manager & Energy Auditor Examination 2022, Raghav Aggarwal from C&I and Ayush Goyel from Operation were also awarded for their excellent performance. Both the winners are from team Korba.
Foraying into the theme of ‘Reduce, Reuse, Recycle’, Energy Conservation Week had been organized in Korba from 08th – 14th December 2022. During the week, various events like Poster and Essay competitions, quizzes etc. were conducted in schools like DPS, Kendriya Vidyalaya, Saraswati Shishu Mandir & Govt High School, Jamnipali. Various competitions were also held for employees and their families.
