NCL’s 15th Inter-Area First Aid Competition at Jhingurda Area witnessed a groundbreaking moment when 65 women from NCL families showcased their remarkable dedication by actively participating in the Competition.

These incredible homemakers demonstrated their ability to excel as true multitaskers, breaking stereotypes and proving their capabilities extend beyond the home.

Their participation marks an innovative step in the realm of safety. These women can now assume the role of first responder to an emergency, providing immediate in-house care.

Addressing the ceremony, CMD NCL, Shri B. Sairam lauded the participation of homemakers in the First Aid event, recognizing how awareness to first-aid can bolster the welfare and wellness of their families, at the same time reduce the burden on medicos. He emphasized that involvement of women in such initiatives has scripted a new chapter in NCL’s golden legacy.

Shri Sairam called for engagement of homemakers in such innovative activities in a sustainable manner.

He exhorted the formulation of a mega First-Aid training drive for over 10,000 homemakers across NCL, aiming to empower them as safety champions.
