India Under-17 women’s football team will take on hosts Italy in their first match of the 6th Torneo Female Tournament today at the Gradisca d’lsonzo stadium, in Italy.
Netherlands and Mexico are the two other teams competing in the tournament.
The tournament will serve as part of its preparation for the FIFA under-17 Women’s World Cup that is set to be held from 11th October, this year.
Head coach Thomas Dennerby expressed confident that his team will perform well in the tournament.
