The last rites of former CM of UP Kalyan Singh will be performed today afternoon at Naraora Ghat in Bulandshahar district.
Many leaders, Ministers and Chief Ministers are reaching at the cremation ground. Mortal remains of former CM are being taken to Naraura Ghat in Bulandshahar.
Home Minister Amit Shah, and other Union Ministers and leaders of various parties paid last respects at Atrauli of Aligarh.
The State government has declared a holiday on the occasion. Allahabad High Court and it’s Lucknow bench is also closed today on account of the demise of Kalyan Singh.
He breathed his last on Saturday at Lucknow after a long illness. State Government has announced that the road leading to Ram Janmbhoomi in Ayodhya will be named after Kalyan Singh.
Besides Ayodhya, one road each in Lucknow, Prayagraj, Bulandshahr and Aligarh will be also named after him.
