Bhubaneswar, 07 August : Coal India Limited (CIL) Chairman PM Prasad inaugurated the workshop-cum-leadership programme “Manthan 2.0: A journey of building a sustainable competitive edge for Coal India” in Bhubaneswar, Odisha.
Vinay Ranjan, Director (Personnel & IR), CIL, and O. P. Singh, CMD, MCL were present in the inaugural session of the Workshop.
While addressing the workshop, Chairman, CIL said as long as the country needs coal, Coal India has to mine it with due emphasis on sustainable practices. However, the company must adapt and innovate in order to retain its energy leadership.
The two-day workshop, organized by IICM in collaboration with MCL, is aimed at empowering newly appointed Directors of Coal India subsidiaries with strategic orientation, an outside-in perspective, stakeholder management, and effective team work to equip them with the skills needed to make well informed decisions.
