Sambalpur (IP News). Mahanadi Coalfields Limited CMD PK Sinha today visited Hingula, Balram and Lingaraj opencast mines in Talcher Coalfields.
The CMD interacted Project teams and reviewed production & off-take operations.
He stressed that issues regarding environmental clearances, land acquisition, R&R, forest diversion etc. should be taken up through cross-functional efforts for speedy resolution.
As on date, despite Covid-19 restrictions in place, MCL has registered a growth of 17% in coal production, 77% in overburden removal (OBR) and 12% in off-take, which is the highest among production subsidiaries in Coal India.
