African Mining Indaba-2023 was successfully organized during 6th-9th February 2023 at the CTICC in Cape Town, South Africa. The main objective of this event was to promote international collaboration and showcase Africa’s continued potential in the mining sector.
The CIL delegation, headed by Bhola Singh, CMD, NCL along with SN Kapri, DT (SECL), AloK Srivastava, GM, Wani North Area, WCL and SK Jha, GM, Lakhanpur, MCL represented CIL in this event to explore the possibilities and opportunities for international collaboration for sustainable growth of mining sector.
Succeeding for over 28 years, Mining Indaba has a unique and widening perspective of the African mining industry, bringing together visionaries and innovators from across the spectrum.
In this global event, total 92 countries with 6500 international delegates attended the event. A 55 members delegation from India participated in Mining Indaba-2023 which comprised of Ministers, Industrialists & officials from ministries and mining companies like CIL, NMDC, MOIL, Hindustan Zinc Ltd., NTPC etc.
