NTPC Dulanga showcased its commitment to safety and excellence at the Closing Ceremony of the Annual Mines Safety Fortnight 2023-24, organized by the Directorate of Mines Safety.
The event saw NTPC Dulanga’s impressive exhibition, featuring best practices, environmental initiatives, and the safety mascot “Kawach.” The inauguration of the NTPC stall was graced by PK Mishra, Principal Secretary to the Prime Minister of India, alongside esteemed guests Shri Prabhat Kumar, Director General (DGMS), and Shri Uday A Kaole, CMD, MCL. K. Chandrasekhar, HOP, NTPC Dulanga, warmly welcomed Shri P K Mishra and provided insights into the stall’s offerings.
NTPC Dulanga clinched a total of five awards during the Annual Mines Safety Fortnight 23-24. The accolades include the prestigious top prize for Mine Plan & Survey, Planning and Monitoring Cell, along with three runner-up prizes for Mine Operation, Electrical Installation in Mines, and Safety Performance, Strata Control Management & Scientific Study.
Additionally, the team secured one third prize for Best Exhibition Stall. The awards were proudly received by K Chandrasekhar, HOP, NTPC Dulanga, Brijesh Shandilya, GM (Safety), CMHQ Brij Raj Prasoon, GM (Infra), Shri Prabhakar Choudhary, Mine Agent, NTPC Dulanga, members of the Dulanga Team, and representatives of Sainik.
