Korba, Chhattisgarh, October 7, 2024 : NTPC Korba proudly announces the inauguration of its new 200 KWp Rooftop Solar Plant, located at the Administrative and Simulator buildings. The inauguration ceremony was graced by Shri Rajeev Khanna, Business Unit Head (Korba), alongside Shri Arnab Maitra, General Manager (Operation & Maintenance), and other esteemed General Managers.
This green initiative marks a significant step forward in NTPC Korba’s commitment to sustainable energy practices. The rooftop solar system, which is grid-tied, comprises 373 high-efficiency monocrystalline solar PV modules, each rated at 550Wp and 49.93 VDC. With a total of 22 strings, the system is supported by 3 inverters, 2 AC Distribution Boards (ACDBs), and 4 DC Distribution Boards (DCDBs).
