Korba, 21 OCT : In a significant step towards promoting employee health and wellness, NTPC Korba has installed a state-of-the-art health kiosk at its administrative building. The initiative, spearheaded by BUH Korba, Shri Rajeev Khanna, aims to provide employees with easy access to health metrics and encourage proactive health management.
The health kiosk features an integrated BMI machine that accurately measures weight and height and automatically calculates individuals’ Body Mass Index (BMI). The device displays results, highlighting any areas of concern related to over- or underweight, ensuring that employees receive immediate feedback on their health status.
To further enhance this initiative, employees can conveniently scan a QR code displayed on the kiosk to submit their health data through a Google Form. This data will be instrumental in health mapping and allow for the implementation of corrective actions tailored to the workforce’s needs.
NTPC Korba is committed to fostering a culture of health and well-being among its employees, and this kiosk represents a crucial step towards that goal. By enabling individuals to monitor their health metrics and encouraging timely interventions, the organization aims to create a healthier workplace environment.
