In a remarkable achievement, NML Pakri Barwadih Coal Mining project emerged as a prominent winner at the 67th Annual Safety Week 2024 organized under the aegis of the Directorate General of Mines Safety (DGMS).
The project bagged an impressive nine awards, marking the highest number of prizes won by any single mine in the Central Coalfields Limited (CCL) area.
The Prize Distribution and Final Day function of the 67th Annual Safety Week 2024 took place in the Magadh Sanghmitra Area. The event was graced by the Chief Guest, Shri Ujjawal Tah, Chief Inspector of Mines (CIM) and Director General of DGMS, along with distinguished officials from the Directorate of Mining Safety (DMS) and the DMS of Mining, Mechanical, and Electrical.
The event was further dignified by the presence of senior executives, including the CMD and Directors of CCL, RED (Coal Mining) NTPC, ED (Coal Mining) DVC, as well as representatives from Hindalco and Tata Steel Mines.
