Mahanadi Coalfields Ltd (MCL) today hosted K.R.K. Reddy, Additional Member (Traffic), Railway Board and senior officials from the East Coast Railways on their visit to Talcher Coalfields.
Shri Reddy inspected key rail loading points, including silos, upcoming FMC projects, and other rail infrastructure.
He engaged with MCL officials on coal availability and transportation, expressing satisfaction with MCL’s loading potential. The evacuation prospects at Ib Valley Coalfields were also discussed.
Shri Reddy assured that steps would be taken to augment the supply of empty rakes to MCL, to the tune of 60 rakes each, at Talcher and Ib Valley Coalfields, and encouraged the use of FMC projects for efficient loading.
