M. P C Das, GM In-charge, Environment Engineering Department of SAIL, Rourkela Steel Plant, was awarded by S R Suryawanshi, ED (Works) under Sabash Scheme at a function held in ED (Works) Office. Present on the occasion were other Senior Officers of the plant.
Mr. Suryawanshi appreciated the good work done by Mr. Das and expressed hope that such recognition would spread the culture of excellence amongst the collective.
Notably, Mr. Das was recognised for obtaining Clearance from State Pollution Control Board for reduction of Stack height from 80 metre to 55 metre in the Ladle Heating Furnace (LHF) of ongoing project of Caster-IV in Steel Melting Shop – II.
