Noida (IP News). Sanyukta Mahila Samiti, Noida organized a medical camp for females at Township Dispensary, Noida in association with Medical Cell, EOC & Fortis Hospital, Noida. The theme of the Camp was “Women Health & Hygiene”. The camp was inaugurated by senior members of Sanyukta Mahila Samiti, Smt. Mahua Roy, Smt. Shobha Gupta and Smt. Rekha Gautam was present amongst other dignitaries. The dignitaries were welcomed by doctors of EOC Medical Cell. A talk on “Women health and hygiene” was delivered by Dr. Anjana Singh, Sr. Gynaecologist, Dr. Linta, Dietician, Fortis Hospital, Noida. Free consultation was offered by the Oncologist, Gynaecologist, Orthopaedic Surgeon and Dietician to the employees, the underprivileged women assisting in the houses of NTPC employees and spouse of security guards. Free tests like Hb, HbA1C, RBS, Vit.D, Uric Acid, Pap-Smear, BMD & BP were conducted. Free coupons for mammography were distributed to the economically weaker women by Fortis Hospital, Noida. Out of total number of 168 beneficiaries, 38 female employees, 13 teenaged girls and 117 economically weaker women of the society were provided a medical hamper (consisting of bio-degradable sanitary napkins, Iron and Calcium tablets, soap, V Wash etc.).
