On 21st November 2024, SECL CVO Himanshu Jain visited Raigarh area. During the visit, Shri Jain reached Chhal silo and reviewed the dispatch arrangements under FMC.
He inspected the dispatch operations at Chhal silo and siding and reviewed the functioning of TRS in silo, silo control room, automatic sampling collection station control room and rapid loading system.
After this, he inspected the coal sampling lab in Chhal, Dharam patch of Chhal OCM, coal stock of Chhal OC, sampling point and weighbridge. While discussing with the Raigarh team, he reviewed the production-productivity of the mine.
Post his field visit CVO Shri Jain held a review meeting with the General Manager of Raigarh area and various department heads of the area.
During the meeting, Shri Jain emphasized on vigilance awareness especially preventive vigilance, and gave directions for better implementation of IT measures for more efficient and transparent operations.
