15 May 2024: Delhi : SriLankan Airlines, the national carrier of Sri Lanka, unveiled its new office in Trivandrum today (13 May 2024), marking the beginning of a new partnership with Translanka Air Travels Pvt. Ltd. as the appointed General Sales Agent (GSA) for South Kerala. This exciting move signifies the airline’s commitment to strengthening its presence in Southern Kerala and delivering an enhanced service to passengers from the Pathanamthitta; Kollam; Varkala; Kovalam; Marthandam; Nagercoil; and Tirunelveli areas.
SriLankan Airlines, renowned for its expansive network in India, initiated flights to Trivandrum in April 1980. Since then, SriLankan has maintained consistent connections between Trivandrum and Colombo and a plethora of global destinations via Colombo including the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Australia, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Qatar, Male, Singapore and many others. SriLankan Airlines currently operates four weekly flights between Trivandrum and Colombo, specifically on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.

The airline anticipates serving customers in South Kerala and Trivandrum with a renewed focus on service delivery in partnership with its new GSA and office.
