Women athletes showcased their grit and strength in the CIL inter-company Powerlifting, Weightlifting & Body Building Championships 2022, in Kolkata.
The top three women athletes in each category of Powerlifting were placed as under:
47 Kg category:
Smt. Ruchita Bodhe from WCL secured the Ist position, Kumari Rukmani from SECL secured the 2nd position and Smt. Kuri Das from MCL was placed in the third position.
52 Kg category:
Smt. Janki Singh from SECL secured the Ist position, Kamalini Naik from MCL secured the 2nd position and Smt. Swati Patil from WCL was placed in the third position.
57 Kg category:
Smt. Sabita Pankaj Saha from WCL secured the Ist position, Smt. Mankuwar from SECL secured the 2nd position and Smt. Yashaika Kujur from NCL was placed in the third position.
63 Kg category:
Dr. Nahid Naseem from NCL secured the Ist position, Smt. Jyotsna Satyen Mistry from WCL secured the 2nd position and Smt. Oran from MCL was placed in the third position.
72 Kg category:
Ms. Sumita Laha from CIL Hq. secured the Ist position, Smt. Mini Devi from SECL secured the 2nd position and Smt. Puja Singh from SECL was placed in the third position.
84 Kg category:
Smt. Indu Bala from NCL secured the Ist position, Smt. Kumari Bharti from SECL secured the 2nd position and Smt. P. Shesleey from MCL was placed in the third position.
84+ Kg category:
Smt. Mamita Singh from NCL secured the Ist position, Smt. Malini Hanua Sunchu from WCL secured the 2nd position and Smt. Premika Lugun from MCL was placed in the third position.
