Union Minister of State, Environment, Forest and Climate Change & Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution Ashwini Kumar Choubey visited NTPC Kahalgaon on 19 August.
Shri Choubey inaugurated the Automatic Ash Bagging system complex at NTPC Kahalgaon.
He conducted a review meeting at BUH Secretariat and praised NTPC Kahalgaon’s efforts towards sustainable development and environment protection.
V. Sudharshan Babu, ED (Kahalgaon) briefed about the CSR initiatives and other developmental projects by NTPC.
C. Shivakumar, ED (Safety) was also present during the meeting.
All members present at the meeting took ‘Sadbhavna Pledge’. Ajay Mandal, MP (Bhagalpur), Pawan Yadav, MLA (Kahalgaon) and Lalan Paswan, MLA (Pirpainti) also visited NTPC Kahalgaon along with the Union Minister of state.
