Nagpur. A 6.062 Km. long pipe conveyor project was commissioned to transport coal from Bhatadih OCP of Western Coalfields Ltd. to Chandrapur Super Thermal Power Station in Maharastra.
The coal will be transported on 1400 mm wide steel cord belts in pipe conveyors from the three silo bunkers of Chandrapur CHP.
It has the capacity to transport 500 tonnes of coal per hour, will reduce pollution and maintain the ecological balance of the area.
