Kolkata (IP News). In response to the call given by central BMS to conduct Union Leaders meeting on 30 & 31st May 2020 many state units & Federation units have conducted virtual meetings in restricted areas, Hall meetings in Green Zone areas.
During the Lockdown, West Bengal unit became total active due to its continuous and relentless Corona Relief activities. Now it is focussing on the Migrant worker’s issues and wage-related issues belonging to Jute, Plantation and contract workers. The state unit has conducted its state-level virtual meeting at which BMs All India General Secretary Virjesh Upadhyay participated. Suresh Sinha Zonal org. Secy. and Shri. Ganesh Mishra, Dy. org. Secy participated. The participants inspired by the deliberations of virtual meetings.
Taking it as lead different District units have conducted different types of the meeting of Union leaders and explained them the present labours scenario and the need to launching of the nationwide movement to protect the Labour rights.
