A one-day workshop on “Streamlining Procurement: Addressing Challenges in GeM, SAP, and Purchase” was held today on 29/04/2024 at SECL HQ with SECL Director Technical (P&P) N. Franklin Jayakumar present as the Chief Guest.
The workshop aimed to discuss ways in which the procurement process can be made more streamlined by finding ways to address challenges related to GeM, SAP, and the Purchase Manual. The participants engaged in discussion and resolved their queries relating to the procurement process and procedures.
Speaking on this occasion Sh. Jayakumar stressed the importance of uniformity in following of rules and procedures outlined in the purchase manual throughout the procurement process be it Areas or HQ. He also talked about Inclusive growth and said that we all must keep making efforts to improve and skill ourselves which in turn contributes to the company’s growth.
At the end Shri VK Lala SO (MM), Baikunthpur Area who is superannuating this month was felicitated.
On this occasion, GM(MM)/Purchase – HoD Shri Manoj Upadhyay, Shri Siddhartha Patnaik GM(MM) along with officers from MM department from HQ as well as Areas and from other user departments within SECL were present.
